Location!
The El Matador is located on the Emerald Coast in Northwest Florida. This beautiful area offers a mix of Southern charm and tropical beauty that is unlike any other part of Florida. Ft. Walton Beach on Okaloosa Island is renowned for its sugar soft, white sand beaches and emerald green water, thus giving it the nickname of “The Emerald Coast”. At El Matador, big kids and adults will love our expansive beach for long walks, sunbathing and plenty of swimming. Beach service is available with lounge chairs and umbrellas awaiting on the sands. With our nearest Gulf front neighbor 17 miles to the west, there's plenty of room for everyone and every activity at the El Matador. But don't worry--we're only minutes away from recreational beach activities like parasailing, wave runners, deep sea fishing, shopping and marine life park.
El Matador has plenty of room for small children to play in spacious grassy areas without fear for their safety.
