Doughnut Hole: 635 E Highway 98 Destin,   32541 Phone: 850-837-8824 is a favorite full breakfast spot for a leisure breakfast (get there early or you'll be waiting) They also have great bakery items. (no water view)

Then there is always Waffle House! We like the one on the other side of Brooks Bridge in the Publix shopping center. ( no water view)

We go over to Destin for lunch when the crowds are not as busy over there.

Fisherman's Wharf: 210-D East Hwy 98 Destin, FL   32541 Phone: 850-654-4766 Our favorite lunch spot in Destin. They have outside seating which overlooks the Destin Docks. You can watch the boats come in and head down to the docks to see what they caught. We have a menu in the Condo.

The Crab Trap 1450 Miracle Strip Pkwy Ft Walton Beach 850-301-0959 is great with little ones because they are right on the beach with a playground and shopping if there is a wait. We like the crab fingers appetizer with ranch dressing for dipping. They also have outside seating overlooking the ocean. Next to the Fort Walton Beach Pier.

The High Tide: 1203 Miracle Strip Pkwy FWB, FL   32548 Phone: 244-2624 Fax: 244-2822. This restaurant has been around for a while! When in season, we love the soft shell crab! Around the corner from Fudpucker's.

Phone: 863-3443. This is a casual place but Great steaks! Great choice after a day on the links at the Fort Walton Beach Golf Course. It may not look like much but give it a chance! I like the Peppercorn Ranch Dressing for my salad. They give small side of sherbet on your plate to cleanse your palette between bites.
